Always positive results
VMATCH, the consulting agency specialized in partnerships in and around sport, has continued to grow continuously since its beginnings in 2021, with an average annual increase of more than 15%. And despite the still tense global economic context, the agency is off to a strong start in 2026 with three new partnerships :
- – FIAT and the French Handball Federation
- – World of Hyatt and Audi Revolut F1 Team
- – Swiss watchmaker Girard Perregaux and Atlassian Williams Racing
An evolution of governance to accelerate
In order to continue the development of VMATCH, Hervé Bodinier – until now Founding CEO of the agency – chose to evolve the governance model by appointing Yann de la Fouchardière to the position of Managing Director, effective immediately.
Yann de la Fouchardière, 43, graduate of Audencia, will be responsible for managing VMATCH’s activities with its current and future clients, to imagine and deploy innovative and committed partnerships. As Managing Director, Yann will also prepare the future of the agency around the development plan called V2.030, a 2026-2030 strategic plan aimed at:
- – affirm the positioning of the agency,
- – strengthen its leadership on the creation of collaborative partnerships in strategic sports and sectors of activity,
- – accelerate the growth dynamic and ensure the projects’ profitability,
- – deploy new activities and business expertise.
Founder of VMATCH, Hervé Bodinier takes over as President. This new governance will allow him to accelerate the development and generation of new opportunities, with key players within brands, rights holders, media, athletes and the sports business ecosystem in France and internationally.
An already well-established team
Hervé and Yann have already had the opportunity to work together over the past 20 years. In 2009, they notably created Sponsorship 360 which they grew before selling it to SPORTFIVE (previously Lagardère Sports & Entertainment).
In 2021, Yann de la Fouchardière took responsibility for the Matmut group’s Sport, Culture and CSR commitment programs, notably creating and deploying Le Sport TRÈS Collectif. This umbrella program aligns the activation of all of the group’s sports partnerships around a societal ambition: promoting inclusion through and in sport.
This program and the major activations that emerged from it have won several awards at the Grand-Prix Stratégies du Sport et de l’eSport and the Grand-Prix du Sport Business.
This expertise on societal and environmental issues strengthens the agency’s positioning on collaborative partnerships.
He joins the VMATCH management committee, chaired by Hervé Bodinier, and made up of two other key men: Stéphane Boucher in charge of consulting management and Sébastien Hautin in charge of operations management and financial management.
